I had always been a very fit and healthy guy growing up. I Played competitive football for 10 years, was always that wee annoying guy in PE that was a try hard and pretty good at any sport. I just loved being active, whether it was in school, with my football team or out playing 5's, cuppy or wally with my mates.

So naturally I went down the sporty route after school. I wasn't good enough to play football so I left with dreams of being a sports scientist for a football team (that turned out well eh). Unfortunately though, I f*cked my last year of school and didn't get the grades I needed to get into the sports science course at uni. So I had to make my way there via 2 years at college.
And so my fitness career began. In 2016 I joined the HND Fitness, Health & Exercise course at City of Glasgow College with the plan that after the 2 year course, I could get 3rd year entry into uni.
I finished the 2 years at college, smashed it. Got 3rd year entry into uni and walked out 2 years later with my honours degree in Sport & Exercise Science. And then BANG. Covid hit.

Through my entire time at college and uni I worked at a local Morrisons, 8 years in total. Once covid hit and there were no jobs going in sports science, I found myself still in Morrisons and hating it. Coming home from work, having zero energy, lacking any ambition or purpose in life and just living for a booze at the weekends which I could barely even afford. I knew something needed to change.

And then I remembered, not only upon passing my HND at college did I get the degree, I also got my level 3 PT qualification. Finally, a way out.
